- Add your JFIF files. Drag them in, click to choose or paste. Add as many as you like.

Why convert JFIF to JPG?
A .jfif file is already a JPEG inside, but many websites and apps refuse the extension. We simply give it the standard .jpg name, so there is no re-compression and no quality loss.
JFIF is really a JPEG with a different file extension. Windows and some browsers save downloaded images this way, and many upload forms reject it. JPG is the universal photo format. Every device, browser, email client and printer can open it.
Frequently asked questions
Why do my images download as JFIF?
Windows registers .jfif as the default extension for JPEG images, so some browsers save pictures that way. You can also fix it permanently in the Windows registry, but converting here is quicker.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Every image is processed inside your browser using WebAssembly. Nothing is sent over the internet, which also makes it fast and safe for private photos.
Is it really free? Are there limits?
Yes. It’s free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. Your own device does the work, so there is no server cost per image.
Is image quality affected?
No. JFIF and JPG are the same format, so the file is simply renamed.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows and Chromebook. You can also add it to your home screen and use it offline.
